Identifying a niche and then staying invested despite tough times is likely to fetch you a good payoff


The example of Dabur and its entry into the nascent juice market in 1997 is a very good example of how the company stayed invested in this category and is now a market leader. Dabur, in my view, is poised to grow further owing to the rosy outlook for the ready-to-drink juice segment lifestyle changes, rising income levels and increasing awareness of fitness/health concerns, all of which should result in rising consumption per capita of juice.
